FEMALE PERSONAL ASSISTANT (Sex Discrimination Act Section 7 (2)(B)(ii) Applies

HOURS OF WORK;  1 hour 3 or 4 times per week

DAYS OF WORK; Can be discussed at interview – but will usually be between Monday and Friday

RATE OF PAY; £8.00 per hour. Paid four weekly through a PAYE scheme

ABOUT THE EMPLOYER;

I am a friendly elderly lady, I am still fairly independent but I struggle a little in the shower and would like help with this

SUMMARY OF DUTIES/JOB DESCRIPTION

I require some assistance to wash my hair in the shower, and then I can be left – and to make me a light lunch or sandwich, and keep my room clean and tidy.

THE PERSON I AM LOOKING FOR;

Will be friendly, honest, and have empathy and a sense of humour.  They do not necessarily need to have care experience, but should have a genuine interest in supporting people.  They will have the willingness and the ability to provide a high standard of care, and have the desire to develop trust and understanding within the role.  They will be reliable and patient, and, when necessary, flexible.  An enhanced DBS check will be required – if you do not hold one this will be paid for by me.
